Content Developer

Being creative and an excellent writer goes without saying as being required. What we’re looking for is someone whose skills go beyond the basics.
Responsibilities:
- Proposing and driving to completion the development of content, be it written or video
- Planning, writing, and posting blogs and articles to clients’ websites
- Writing up marketing research reports in such a way so that they are ready for consumption by the news media
- Working on Zion & Zion’s own content strategy and content marketing efforts
- Creating content outlines for websites
- Interfacing with the Zion & Zion PR/Social Media team to “translate” content into the social domain
- Writing website content to support website development, redesign, and optimization efforts
- Producing client and internal email copy and ad copy
- Conducting keyword research to support content development and content strategies
- Contributing to the Zion & Zion blog and whitepapers with respect to content strategy and content development
Skills and Experience:
- Able to write in a wide variety of styles appropriate to the particular situation, content type, and client brand
- 1-3+ years work experience in developing interactive content (email, web, blog, case study, and other long-form content)
- WordPress CMS experience
- Google Analytics experience (preferred)
- 4-year degree in marketing, marketing communications, journalism or a related area
