Senior Account Executive
LOCATION: We are based–as is this position–in Tempe, AZ—an upbeat college town in the Greater Phoenix Metro area.
WE ARE: A full-service marketing, PR, social media, advertising and interactive agency. We have a team of approximately 30 people and a culture driven by innovation, fun and a wealth of both young and experienced talent.
OUR LEADERSHIP: Our firm was founded by Aric Zion (pronounced Eric), who holds a Master’s in Computer Engineering and has both MBA and PhD level training in marketing, and DuGué Zion (pronounced Doo-gay), who holds an MBA. The combination of their Fortune 100 business and technical experience, as well as international assignments in Japan and Europe, has given them a tremendous amount of valuable knowledge as well as a depth and breadth of experience that has enabled our firm to achieve things that other firms only dream of with respect to true integration across PR, social media, interactive and traditional campaigns.

THE NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB: We’re looking for an exceptional individual. If it’s you, you’ll be a key part of our firm’s account management organization team. To begin with, you’ll have responsibility at a minimum for managing one of our firm’s larger clients where we’re providing all of the following services: marketing strategy, web development, PR, creative, media buying, tradeshow management, and video production.
Here’s our wish list—it’s ambitious, so we ask that you are as well.
- 5 years or more of account management experience
- 5 years or more of marketing experience
- A bachelor’s in marketing, business or a related discipline (MBA is a plus but not required)
- A strong understanding of business concepts and the ability to have deep business discussions with clients
- Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- A strong personality that will be immediately perceived by clients as providing leadership
- The PROVEN ability to expertly manage clients, projects and expectations
- Savvy in enough areas of marketing that working with our PR team, social media team, web development team, media buying team, creative and video production team, and VP of strategy will not be overwhelming
Note that previous agency experience can be a plus or a minus. Yes, we’ve hired people from other agencies, however if you expect a lot of process and structure, as some agencies have, then this is absolutely not the job or the place for you.
