TEMPE, Ariz. –  July 1, 2013 – Zion & Zion (@ZIONandZION) was announced as a top company to work for in Arizona by CareerBuilder (@CareerBuilder) and Republic Media (@RepublicMediaAZ). This inaugural list further highlights Zion & Zion’s continued success and the recognition of its workplace culture.

A collaborative effort involving Careerbuilder, Republic Media (The Arizona Republic, (@ArizonaRepublic), azcentral.com (@azcentral), and LaVoz), BestCompaniesAZ, Best Companies Group, WorldatWork and Dignity Health, this program recognized organizations that are creating quality jobs and work environments in Arizona, and provides all companies the opportunity to establish a baseline and plan for improvement.

Companies included in the CareerBuilder “Top Companies to Work for in Arizona” list were evaluated and selected based on a combination of overall satisfaction scores from an employee engagement survey and evaluation from an employer questionnaire covering topics related to human resources programs, benefits and workplace philosophy.

Zion & Zion, known for its analytical and ROI driven approach to marketing, has also created a reputation for having happy employees, a fun workplace environment and unique company wide activities. Each quarter, Zion & Zion hosts employee events including “Crab Fest,” Lake Day, Movie Day and the annual weekend long Holiday Party that the agency hosts at a local resort. Along with quarterly company outings, employees enjoy office lunch and learn workshops, company happy hours, flexible work schedules, and a full-time office dog. Zion & Zion also strongly believes in investing in its employees by sending each employee to at least two all-expense paid out-of-state conferences a year as well as paying for industry related memberships.

Zion & Zion CEO Aric Zion (@ariczion) commented, “Coming from corporate America, we knew that keeping employees engaged and keeping morale high is vital to high productivity and motivation. The new, 14,000 sq ft Zion & Zion building, being completed later this year, will be not only the most technologically advanced agency office that Arizona has ever seen, but it will also be the most fun and collaborative agency office design in the state’s history.”
